Good news from the ICU

He is resting in the ICU. He is going to be awakened every hour for the first 24 hours to check his status, so he won't get much rest.

He has normal feeling in his right side, and that is great news because we expected that side to be numb for several hours or days before it cleared up.

The main risk now is bleeding in the brain in the surgery area. The idea is to keep down on the excitement and stimulation for 24 hours so his blood pressure stays down.

His Mom and I will be staying with him tonight and through tomorrow.

    That is fantastic news! During one of his awakenings on the hour, can you tell him he needs to hurry up and get better so you and I won't have to carry him all softball season? haha! I'm SO thankful things are turning out well. I'm still thinking of you all and you'll still be in my prayers!

    I've never met you, but when Roxie sent me the e-mail about Tony, I prayed for a good outcome and fast recuperation. Good to hear all is going well so far.

    We are really glad that everything is going so well. We will continue to pray for all of you guys. Our thoughts and prayers are constantly with you. We love you and hope to visit later when Tony is feeling up to visitors again.
